Schwarz auf Weiss

Schwarz auf Weiss (Black on White) is about the moment when rumors collide with facts. Conversations turn into allegations, hearsay becomes supposed certainty, and eventually one version of the story ends up on paper. But putting something in writing does not automatically make it true. VANTOR explores distrust, rumors, records and the search for verifiable facts through German and Russian lyrics and a dark, direct atmosphere. At its core is a simple principle: the loudest rumor does not determine the truth – what matters is what can ultimately be proven black on white.
